Seddon Range was set out in 1906 by Captain Robert Collins. Since the shortening of Sommerville Range, Seddon has become the home of the National Rifle Association of NZ and the Ballinger Belt, NZ’s oldest sporting trophy. The concrete gallery was built progressively between the two world wars, and extended in 1984. Seddon has the oldest graffiti of the three ranges, with some signatures apparently dating from the 1920s.
